What to Do

Activities in the greater Vancouver area

EAT & DRINK

You can’t visit Vancouver without eating tons of great food. Head into downtown Vancouver to the Gastown or Yaletown neighborhoods and visit Tacofino and many other amazing restaurants.

If you’re heading to Surrey looking for Indian food, check out Happy Singh or Tasty Indian Bistro. (Be sure to leave room for dessert at Happy Singh because their shakes are delicious!)

And you can’t forget the Canadian classics like poutine and Tim Hortons!

PLAY

If you’re looking to fill a day trip in and around the city, check out Stanley Park or the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

If you’re looking for a bigger adventure, drive up to Grouse Mountain and take the gondola up to see some amazing views.

EXPLORE

The beauty of British Columbia is a gem in the Pacific Northwest. If you have the time, take the ferry to Vancouver Island and spend a couple days in Victoria or go whale watching.

Looking for mountain views? Whistler Mountain is a quick 2-hour scenic drive away.

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, spend a couple nights at Harrison Hot Springs.
